Ranu Jain is an independent photographer and writer with roots in Sociology and Anthropology. Her creative pursuits are largely influenced by the ordinary moments of everyday life, nature, music, cinema, and poetry. She is drawn to the Japanese ideologies of Wabi-Sabi, Kintsugi, and Ikigai, and loves writing the Haiku form of poetry. Her Haiku have been published in several international journals, like Cold Moon Journal, Under the Basho, and Humana Obscura, among others. She is currently working on a book of poetry.
